This is me, martko1964. I want to celebrate with you the joy of living. You never know what you will read about here (family, food, friends, gardening, dancing, just pictures, parties), but I want you to know that it is always going to celebrate real, authentic living here on Glen Road. Who am I? I often say that I am lucky in that I get to be a country mouse in Connecticut and a city mouse in Manhattan. Among other things, I’m an Accounting Director at a Fortune 50 corporation for over 20 years, frustrated gardener, aspiring chef extraordinaire, not necessarily in that order and the list is always changing. I like to read, laugh, sleep, dance, sing, feel, eat well, drink wine, be with friends, garden, be funny, cook, play with my dog, be dramatic, love, be in control, shop, bake, gossip, watch QVC, give gifts, travel, smile, collect things and live. I want to be in the moment and I hope Acorns On Glen helps me do that. Join me often on this wonderful journey called “LIFE“.
This is very nice. Never read this before. Have a good week.
Thanks! Come back soon Carolkin. Always something new and exciting (I hope) on Acorns On Glen.

Hi
Hope the ricotta worked out in the baked ziti. I forgot to tell you that it is from Bellwether Farmsin Sonom , made from sheeps milk. I’ve enjoyed reading your blog. All the things I love food and gardening. See you soon. Monica
Hi Monica. Welcome to Acorns On Glen. The cheese was perfect for the ziti last night. We made so much and had so much left over that we should bring you over some for lunch today. I am going to put it as a post later this week so come back and read all about it. Thanks for your comment…..and your cheese. If you are reading this and would love to find some great cheese in the Connecticut area, take a look at http://www.109cheeseandwine.com.
Wow ~ that’s quite the list you got there! Is there anything that you don’t do?
Love your blog!
